Both you posts about Rio and São Paulo are amazing, Ashleigh. You recommend necessaries places to know and describe them in a very pleasant way. Please, write more about Brazil!

So cool you met José in person after 12 years of being pen pals! How long would you recommend it takes to fully enjoy Rio? I loved the photos and all these great ideas.

Dan, I spent two weeks and could have stayed much longer! It really depends on your travel style and what you like to do. I personally would spend at least a week, longer if you can.

Good to know! Yes, it seems like a city you can spend weeks (or months!) in. You for sure motivated me.

I couldn’t help noticing your interest in fabulous libraries and bookshops. I wondered if you had a favorites in either London or Paris you might be willing to share. I’ll be visiting both in a couple months. Great post.

Yes! For London, you should definitely check out the British Library, and I liked the rare bookshop Peter Harrington. (Also, highly recommend Toppings and Company if you take a day trip to Bath.) For Paris, Shakespeare and Company is a must-see.

Ashleigh, I am going to Rio soon. I was wondering where to stay there other than close to beaches. Is staying in inner city recommended? Would it be close to main landmarks to visit?
