Wow! This was a lovely post. I'd love to see the sloths and hike at the national park. My husband's been to Panama, and he had nothing but good things to say about the food and the people. What was your favorite thing to do on your trip?

Thank you so much, Carmel! The sloth sanctuary was a huge highlight, but my favorite part was taking a weekend trip to the islands of Guna Yala, off the coast of Panama. I'm going to share more about that trip tomorrow, but the beaches and water are so pristine there!

I’ve had lots of layovers in Panama City but haven’t actually seen the city! You convinced me to stay sometime. How many days do you think is ideal Ashleigh?

I spent two weeks and actually found it pretty laid back and relaxing! But, you can visit most of the major sites in a week or less.

Oo! This is very helpful, Ashleigh. Panamá is one of the countries I hope to spend time in with the family. Thank you for these useful tips!

Thank you, Dr. Charity! Panamá seems like a great place for a family trip. The north has some nice spots as well. Y'all will enjoy!

Hola Ashleigh! It looks like you are working your way north. Aren't the buses in Panama cool? So colorful, but beware the traffic! Drivers are loco, at least on that large boulevard that parallels the ocean.

Yes, Jeanine! When I started my trip, I was in Argentina and Chile. I only have two stops left to write about in this series: Guna Yala and Costa Rica. The buses were great! I definitely have a thing for fairly reliable public transport. 😌
