Beautiful photos to accompany a beautiful experience. I actually got a bit nervous as I read about the horses basically going off on their own. I’ve never ridden a horse before, and I can honestly say that I probably would have been scared of falling off while riding through the jungle. Still, I look forward to doing that one day. Yes, the bar was a bonus! It was a great adventure, I would love to go back. The Ciudad Perdida trek (five days in the jungle to a lost city) is also nearby 😊
Cabo San Juan looks absolutely incredible Ashleigh! The first photo you post, from that bluff, with the boats and the beach and the clouds -- so pretty. It sounds like everything worked out, including your horse ride! Then a ride to the bus station and a nice by-chance meeting w/ a new friend. Life is good!
